I love those passages of Scripture at the end of Paul’s letters — the ones with names, prayer requests, and personal instructions.
We tend to overlook these verses. But I think they give us something beautiful. They give us a window into the life of the earliest Christ followers. When we gaze through it we see our spiritual fathers & mothers. We’re reminded that Christianity has always been a movement of real people in real places with real parts in the story of God.
